6/93 Heath Farm Cottage

GV II

House. Mid-late C18. Coursed rubble, stone slate roof. L-shaped. 2 storeys. 2-cell central-entry plan with rear range. Quoins. Doorway with monolithic jambs and overlight flanked by square windows with plain stone surrounds and 2-pane sashes to each floor. Brick gable stacks renewed mid C20. Rear: attached wing, at right angles, has narrow stairwindow with tie-stone jambs to left of small single-light window to each floor, all with small pane glazing. Quoins. Lower cell, set back, has doorway with flat-arched lintel, tie-stone jambs and chamfered surround to left of altered window, disturbed stonework. C18 brick gable stack at junction with lower cell.

Interior: altered. Front 2 cells opened into one room, 2 earlier stop-chamfered spine beams possibly C17 and reused.
