Description
The Priest's House is a house from the mid to late 17th century that was altered in the mid-20th century. It features rendered stonework and a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and a two-cell central-entry plan with a double-depth layout and a two-span roof. A continuous dripmould rises over the doorway, which has a Tudor-arched lintel with sunk spandrels and a chamfered surround. There are former two-light windows to the left and three-light windows to the right on each floor. The gables are coped with kneelers.
At the rear, the house has quoins and a central doorway with a monolithic lintel. The original fenestration includes a small oval window, which is blocked, to the right of the door; a single double-chamfered light above the door; a three-light double-chamfered mullion window to the left; and a two-light window to the right. The right-hand return features an external stack on each gable.
