Description

This is a house located at 23 Millgate, dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is built of coursed rubble with a pantile roof and has two storeys and three bays. The right side features quoins. The ground-floor openings have deep lintels, and there is a central four-panel door. The ground-floor windows are four-pane sashes with projecting sills, while the first-floor windows consist of sashes with glazing bars in the first and third bays, with a central opening that is blind. The building has shaped kneelers and ashlar coping, along with brick end stacks.
