Description

The property at 14 High Street is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of rubble and has a pantile roof with stone slates at the eaves. The house is two storeys high with two windows on the first floor. The central doorway features a part-glazed six-panel door set within a chamfered ashlar surround with parallel tooling and a timber gabled hood. On the ground floor, there are 20th-century paired sash windows with glazing bars, set beneath concrete lintels. The first floor has 16-pane sash windows. The roof has raised verges, and there are end stacks, with the left-hand stack being external.
