Description

This is a late 18th to early 19th century cottage located on High Street in Gilling West. The building is constructed of rubble with a 20th-century pantile roof, featuring stone slates along the eaves. It is two storeys high and has one window on the first floor. The right side of the facade has quoins. A four-panel door is located on the left side, and there are 20th-century casement windows on both floors. A chimney stack is situated at the right end of the building. The cottage is included on the list for its contribution to the group value of the surrounding buildings.
