Description

No 8 High Street is a cottage dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of rubble with a pantile roof, featuring stone slates at the eaves. The building has two storeys and one window on the first floor. There are quoins on the right side, and to the left, there is a boarded door set within a gabled glazed porch. Each floor has a 16-pane sash window with a projecting sill and a deep lintel. The right side has ashlar coping, and there is an end stack on the right. This cottage is included for its group value.
