Description
This building, located at 11 Millgate, is a house dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with some alterations made in the early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble and features a pantile roof with stone slates at the eaves. The house has two storeys and three bays, with quoins at the corners. The central entrance consists of a board door set within a chamfered ashlar surround.
On the ground floor, there are four-pane sash windows with chamfered jambs, and to the left of the door, there is a blocked single-light window. The first-floor windows are 20th-century casements in chamfered surrounds, with the central opening being blind. The building also features cavetto-shaped kneelers and ashlar coping. At the ends, there are 19th-century corniced ashlar stacks. The right side of the building has four chamfered surrounds for single-light windows.
