Description

The bakehouse located at the rear of Number 114 is a Grade II listed building, likely built around the same time as the main house, which is dated 1733. It features rubble brought to course, dressed quoins, and a stone slate roof. This single-storey, single-cell structure has a south elevation with two-light chamfered mullioned windows. The east side includes a doorway with a dressed lintel, while the north side showcases a domed beehive oven that projects from the gable. Inside, there is a moulded entrance with a rebate to the oven and a corbelled flue. The bakehouse is included in the listing for its group value.
