Description

This small bakehouse, located immediately north of number 2, was built in 1741, as indicated by an inscription on the brick. It features chequered red brick and has a steep plain tile roof. There is a large internal gable end stack on the east side. Inside, it contains an open hearth and a bread oven. The south side has a central plank door set in a 18th-century moulded oak frame, along with one fixed casement window in a pegged frame. To the west, there is a 19th-century extension that is weatherboarded and has a slate roof.
