Description

The slaughterhouse at the rear of No 2 is an early 19th-century structure. It is timber framed and features weatherboarding, with some latticework for ventilation. The base is made of red brick, and it has a steep plain tile roof. The building consists of four small bays and includes an original internal weatherboarded partition. Inside, there are original pulleys, hooks, and other fittings. The roof is constructed with clasped purlins and heavy tie beams. This building is included for its group value.
