Description
Nos 5, 7, and 9 Church Lane is a terrace of three cottages that dates from the 17th century, with possible earlier origins. The cottages are cased in red brick from the late 18th century and feature a plain tile roof that is hipped on the east side, with a slightly lower pitch on the west side for Nos 5 and 7. The buildings are two storeys high and have six wooden casement windows, with segmental heads on the ground floor. The doors and windows of Nos 7 and 9 have pegged oak frames. A large square chimney stack, originating from the 16th or 17th century, is located on the ridge where the two roofs meet.
