Description

This building is a bakehouse or brewhouse from the early 18th century, constructed from hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof. It is a single-storey structure featuring two doorways with tie-stone jambs and a three-light chamfered mullioned window. The left-hand return wall includes a two-light chamfered mullioned window along with two rectangular openings for ventilation, arranged in a 2 over 3 pattern. The right-hand return wall has a doorway in the gable that leads to a former first floor. Inside, there are two rooms, one of which contains a large stone beehive oven lined with bricks.
