Description
This building is a bakehouse and brewhouse dating from the 18th century, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed of rubble and has a pantiled roof, featuring a gable stack on the east side and a half hip on the west. The structure has a two-room plan and includes a 20th-century lean-to on the north and east sides. It stands at one and a half storeys tall and has two doors on the west side beneath a timber lintel. To the right is a plank door, and there is a four-pane window also under a timber lintel, along with a 20th-century door. Inside, the bakehouse is located to the east and the dairy to the west. There is a ladder stair in the bakehouse, along with a chamfered, stopped beam, a three-bay roof with bolted collars, a diagonal ridge, and plated yokes.
