Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century, with later alterations and additions. It is constructed of rubble and rendered on the sides and rear, topped with a double Roman tiled roof featuring a gable stack to the right and a stack to the left, which was formerly at the end wall. The building has an L-plan layout and originally included a through passage. It is two storeys high with three windows, all of which are 19th century six-pane casements set under timber lintels. There is a plank door in the second bay from the right, within a wooden frame and lintel. The east side has 20th century windows, while the rear features all 19th century casements similar to those on the front, with one window replacing the former through passage door. The west side of the rear wing has 20th century windows and a door. Inside, there are plank and batten doors with strap hinges and chamfered stopped beams.
