Description
The Swan Hotel is a public house built in the early 19th century. It features dressed stone and a stone slate roof, standing two storeys high. The main facade has three symmetrical bays, with a slightly later two-bay addition to the right. The entrance is framed by pilasters, an entablature, and a triangular pediment, while the addition has a doorway with monolithic jambs. All windows are surrounded by raised plain stone and have small-paned glazing with upper casements. The building has square gutter brackets and coped gables with stacks, and the addition also includes a coped gable with a stack.
