Description
This is a row of back-to-back cottages, numbers 323 to 327 Thornton Road, and numbers 2 to 6 Dole Street, dating to approximately 1830. The cottages are two storeys high and have sandstone walls with brick detailing, covered by stone slate roofs. The roofs have spaced dentil brackets along the eaves, and the chimneys are corniced. There are two-light square mullion windows set within squared surrounds. Above the doorway of number 323 is a single-light window. The doorways have squared jambs and small consoles supporting shallow cornices.
