Description
This is a milepost located on the north side of the junction with Apsley Road in Keighley. It dates from the early to mid 19th century and is made of cast iron. The milepost consists of two triangular-sectioned posts that are joined to form a triangular-sectioned shape with a sloping top. The left face of the milepost indicates 'Keighley 2 miles' with a pointing hand, while the right face shows 'Colne 10 miles' also with a pointing hand.
