Milepost. Mid C19. Cast-iron plate attached to gritstone block. Approximately one metre high, triangular in section with a semicircular head. Inscription: top - "SKIPTON & KNARESBOROUGH ROAD"; left face - "KNARESBOROUGH 8 3/4 M HARROGATE 6 M; right face - "SKIPTON 16 M".
