Milepost. Early-mid C19. Cast-iron plate bolted against a gritstone block. Sunk into the ground, only 80 centimetres showing above ground level. Triangular in section with rounded head. Inscriptions: head - "SKIPTON & KNARESBOROUGH ROAD FELLISCLIFFE" left face - "HARROGATE 7 MILES KNARESBOROUGH 9 3/4 MILES"; right face - "SKIPTON 15 MILES". Plate fastened to the rear block with round-headed bolts.
