Description
The gates and gatepiers to Slack Lane Baptist Church were built in 1879. They feature wrought iron double gates with plain bars, scrolled central panels, and taller end panels. The gatepiers are made of ashlar and have chamfered plinths and pillars. They are topped with deep entabletures that include fielded-panel friezes and modillion cornices.
