Description

This building is an outbuilding located approximately 10 meters south of Lower Belle Clive Farmhouse. It dates from the 17th century, with an addition and alterations made in the 18th century. The structure is built of rubble brought to course and coursed squared stone, topped with a stone slate roof. It is a single-storey building with a loft that features three loft openings.

The left section of the outbuilding, made of rubble, has three chamfered quoined triangular-headed doorways, two of which are blocked and have windows. The right section, which was added later, includes two quoined doorways, with the right one also blocked and fitted with a window. Above these doorways, there are three boarded square openings.

On the rear side, there are quoins on the right. It features three doorways: the right one is chamfered, quoined, and triangular-headed; the central doorway is chamfered, quoined, and blocked with a window; and to the left of this is a later door and window. Additionally, there is a chamfered vent located between the two right-hand doorways, along with a blocked arched vent positioned above. The interior roof structure is likely from the 18th century.
