Description

This outbuilding, located to the northeast of Old Hall, dates from the 17th century and was altered in the 19th century. It is constructed from coursed gritstone with gritstone dressings and quoins, topped with a Welsh slate roof featuring a brick gable stack. The building is single storey. On the western side, there is a doorway with a timber lintel and a plank door, along with a three-light recessed and chamfered mullion window. The other sides of the building have 19th-century windows. Inside, there are a pair of cruck trusses with almost straight blades. This outbuilding is included for its group value with the nearby structures.
