Description

This building, located immediately east of Langsett House, is an early 18th-century house and stable that has been altered over time. It is constructed of coursed squared stone and features a stone slate roof. The structure has two storeys, with the house comprising two bays and the stable consisting of three bays.

The house has a 20th-century central porch and three-light double-chamfered windows on both floors, with the upper-floor windows having one mullion removed. The windows on the ground floor have been replaced with 20th-century casements. To the right, the stable range has three entrances, one of which is partially blocked, all featuring deep lintels, with the rightmost entrance being shaped. There are later stone brackets supporting the gutter, and the gable copings are chamfered on moulded kneelers. A rebuilt stone stack is positioned over the doorway.

At the rear, there is a small rectangular fire-window on each floor, and a later outshut to the left. To the right, there is a contemporary outshut that includes a former two-light double-chamfered window. The interior has not been inspected.
