Description
Langsett House (south part) is an early 18th-century house that has been altered. It is built from coursed, squared stone and features an interlocking concrete tiled roof. The house has a three-room plan and stands two storeys tall. The front has three bays, each with three-light double-chamfered windows, and there is a doorway located between the second and third bays. A notable ashlar stack is positioned above the door, featuring a chamfered plinth and string. At the rear, there is a near-central part-blocked doorway with a quoined surround. To the right of this doorway is a former three-light double-chamfered window, although the mullions have been removed. There are small additions to the left and right of the house, but these are not of special interest.
