Description

Ty'n Llan is a two-storey house, previously a public house, with a single-storey converted stable block to the southeast. The house was built using roughly coursed masonry, primarily of rounded boulders. It has a modern slate roof with stone copings and small rooflights in the northeast slope, along with tall gable stacks featuring dripstones and capping. The front (street-facing) elevation has a three-window arrangement, with the openings offset to the southeast and set beneath stone lintels. The doors are modern, and the house has horned sash windows; most are 16-pane lights, with a larger 20-pane window on the ground floor to the left of the doorway. The rear wall has a scattered pattern of small casement windows, plus a stair window between the units.

To the southeast of the house is a single-storey wing, formerly the stables, constructed of similar materials. This wing also has small rooflights in the front roof slope. The principal elevation of the stables is a single window range, with a doorway to the right and a single modern casement window of two lights to the left. At the southeast gable, an external stone staircase leads up to the former loft doorway, now fitted with a modern glazed door. The interior of the house was not inspected.
