Description
This outbuilding, located approximately 20 meters north of Priory Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with dressed stone quoins and features a stone slate roof. The building has a long rectangular shape divided into two parts, with a projection on the south wall that may have been used for grain storage.
The main section is a single storey with a loft, and it includes a two-storey gabled projection on the right side. The upper floor of this projection has a two-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casement window. To the right of this projection, there is a doorway leading to stone steps that ascend to a plank door for the loft, located to the left of the gabled projection. Additionally, there is a two-light stone-mullioned casement and a stable door situated to the right of the steps.
Attached to the left side of the main building is a single-storey outbuilding featuring two small unglazed windows with timber lintels and a plank door at the far left. This outbuilding has a hipped roof at its gable end. Inside the main body, the loft floor slopes down towards a linear opening above hay racks along the north wall.
