Description

The Puesdown Inn is a mid-to-late 19th-century inn, built in at least two stages. The main body of the inn is constructed of coursed, squared, and dressed limestone, while a wing is built of thinly bedded limestone. The main body has a concrete tile roof, the wing a slate roof, and there are ashlar stacks, along with a brick stack to a rear extension.

The inn is a long, rectangular range with an extension projecting at right angles at the rear of the main body. The main facade has two storeys and seven windows, all featuring 12-pane sash windows with horns. A single-storey, 20th-century lean-to has been added to the front of the first five bays on the right-hand side. The facade includes two double-width, stilted-headed archways on the left. A lower, two-storey wing is located on the left, featuring a 20th-century doorway to the right, with the original doorway remaining to the left. The first floor of the wing has three two-light wooden casements with horizontal glazing bars. Flat coping is present at the gable ends and former gable ends. The interior has not been inspected.
