Description
This is a house located at 46 Heworth Green in York, built around 1840 and altered in the late 19th century. The building is constructed of brick with painted stone and stucco decorations, topped with a slate roof.
The house has three storeys, an attic, and a cellar, featuring two bays. The windows are sash style without glazing bars and are adorned with painted rusticated lintels. There is a sill band under the first-floor windows. The left bay includes a cellar opening, while the attic is illuminated by two small dormers that have horizontal sashes with glazing bars. The doorway is situated in the right bay and features a Tuscan pilaster doorcase, a four-panel door, and a plain rectangular overlight. There are chimneys on both the left and right sides of the house. The interior has not been inspected.
