Description

This is a house located at 62 Holgate Road in York, built around 1845 to 1850. It is constructed of brick and features a slate roof. The facade is symmetrical, consisting of three storeys and three bays. The windows are glazing bar sashes with painted brick flat arches above them. The entrance is marked by a wide Tuscan pilaster doorcase that includes a plain frieze, a moulded cornice, and panelled reveals. Above the four-panel door, there is a plain rectangular overlight. The house has chimneys positioned in front of the ridge on both the left and right sides, as well as one on the ridge to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
