Description
The Crystal Palace Public House is a public house built around 1845 to 1850. It is constructed of brick with some stone dressings and has a slate roof. The exterior features a symmetrical front that is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The windows are glazing bar sashes with horns, topped with rusticated stone lintels. Above the ground-floor doorway, there is a shallow window. The doorcase is painted and includes an architrave, consoles, and a cornice. The roof has overhanging eaves and verges, with gable chimneys. On either side of the main building, there are single-storey wings; the left wing is made of 20th-century cavity brickwork, while the right wing has two-storey additions at the back. The interior has not been inspected.
