Description
The forecourt walls, gates, and railings for numbers 74 and 76 on Holgate Road date from the mid-19th century, with some 20th-century alterations. The walls are made of brick topped with stone copings, and they enclose three sides of the front garden for these properties. The iron railings along the pavement feature pointed cast finials. The gate is designed with interlaced iron piers that have palmette finials. This structure is included for its group value as part of the overall design of numbers 74 and 76.
