Description

No. 75 Holgate Road is a house dating from around 1830, constructed of brick with a slate roof. The building has two storeys above a semi-basement. The ground floor and basement each feature one window, while the first floor has two windows. All windows are glazing bar sashes with brick flat arches above them. The entrance is located on the left side and is accessed by nine external stone steps with nosings. The doorcase is adorned with engaged reeded columns, a plain frieze, and a simple semicircular overlight. The door itself has six raised and fielded panels, and there is a ridge chimney on the right side of the house. The interior has not been inspected.
