Description
16 and 17 Mount Parade are two houses built around 1840. They are constructed of brick and topped with a slate roof. The buildings are two stories tall, featuring an attic and a cellar. Each house has one bay and a door located to the right. The windows are glazing bar sashes with brick flat arches. No. 16 includes a cellar window with glazing bars, while No. 17 has a 20th-century cellar window. Both houses have flat-roofed attic dormers and a pilaster doorcase with panelled reveals and an overlight with margin panes. No. 16 has a four-panel door, whereas No. 17 features a 20th-century door with a circular glazed panel. The timber gutter is supported by paired rectangular brackets, and there are chimneys on the left side of each house. The interior has not been inspected.
