Description

This is a house located at 126 Holgate Road in York, built around 1835 to 1840. It is constructed of brick and has a concrete tile roof. The building is two storeys high and features three bays. On the ground floor, the windows are casements with geometrical glazing bars and margin panes, while the first-floor windows are sashed. The entrance is framed by a central Tuscan pilaster doorcase that includes a modillion cornice. Above the four-panel door, there is an overlight with margin panes. The gables are coped and have chimneys. The interior has not been inspected.
