House. c1860. Brick with painted stone dressings. Slate roof. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and 2 bays. At the left on the ground floor there is a canted bay window which is sashed and has a modillioned cornice. The windows to the upper floors have sashes divided into large square panes, and the 1st floor windows have a sill band. The doorway, at the right, has a doorcase with sunken panels, panelled reveals, a modillioned cornice, a 4-panel door, and an overlight, divided into 2 square panes. The gutter is carried on rectangular brackets. Chimneys in front of ridge at left and shared at right. INTERIOR: not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: the front garden is enclosed by brick walls with stone copings which carry iron railings with cast finials. The gate is also of iron and has turned iron gateposts.
