Description
Two houses, numbers 32 and 33, were built around 1860. They are brick structures with painted stone dressings and a slate roof. Each house is two bays wide and three storeys high. Both have sashed canted bay windows on the ground floor, with the bay window of number 32 featuring a stone base that includes a cellar window. The upper-story windows are glazing bar sashes, with a first-floor sill band. The doorways are adjacent and contained within a shared doorcase featuring panelled pilasters; the doors are four-panelled with divided overlights. A timber cornice gutter runs along the top. Shared chimneys are located on either side of the roof ridge. The interiors have not been inspected. The front garden of number 33 is enclosed by low brick walls with stone copings, which support iron railings with cast finials, and an iron gate with turned iron gateposts capped with ball finials. The front and right-hand return walls of number 32 are twentieth-century rebuilds in brick with terracotta copings.
