Description
Railings, gates, and piers enclosing a central garden, dating from the mid to late 19th century and 20th century. The original railings were made by William Walker. The materials used include ashlar, concrete, cast iron, and steel. On the south side, there are two square-plan ashlar corner piers connected by iron railings with cast finials, which are set into concrete copings. The other sides feature flat steel railings with twisted pointed tops. There are five cast-iron gates with gateposts: one located towards the southern end of the straight east side, one at each end of the straight north-east side, one near the center of the curved west side, and one near its southern end.
