Description
Number 116 is a house built around 1840, with alterations made in the early 20th century. It is constructed of brick and has a slate roof. The building has three storeys and two bays. The upper storey windows are sashed without glazing bars and feature rubbed brick flat arches. The ground-floor window is a wide 20th-century casement that slightly projects as a bay window, consisting of three lights with a transom. The doorway, located on the left, has a panelled door, a plain rectangular overlight, and a pilaster doorcase with a hood supported by brackets. A chimney is situated on the right-hand gable, in front of the ridge. The interior has not been inspected. The front garden is enclosed by iron railings on low brick walls with stone copings, and it is accessed through an iron gate.
