Description
Number 130 is a house that has been converted into a guesthouse, dating from around 1830. It is built of brick with some stone details and has a slate roof. The building has three storeys, an attic, and cellars, and features two bays. The windows are glazing bar sashes with flat arches made of rubbed brick. The ground-floor window is tripartite and has a segmental arch. The first-floor windows have a sill band and open onto a stone balcony with iron railings that include rectangular panels with diagonal patterns. The attic is illuminated by two flat-roofed 20th-century dormers, and there is a glazing bar sash window in the cellar.
The doorway, located on the left side, features a doorcase with engaged barleysugar columns, Corinthian capitals, and a cornice. The door itself has four panels and a plain semicircular overlight. A modillion gutter cornice runs along the top. On the right side of the facade, there is a chamfered stone quoin strip with a lead downpipe to its left. The building has chimneys on the right and a shared chimney on the left.
The front garden is enclosed by iron railings set on a low brick wall with stone copings, and it is accessed through an iron gate.
