Description

This is a house dating to circa 1840. It is constructed of stucco, with brick gable walls and chimneys. The building is three storeys high, with a cellar. It has two bays. The windows are cross casements. Ground-floor windows have semicircular heads, recessed within moulded semicircular arches with moulded imposts. These arches form the capitals to pilaster reveals; below the sills are panelled aprons. First-floor windows have cornices and lugged architraves, which extend to support a stone balcony with cast-iron railings. Second-floor windows have architraves. The doorway, on the left side, is recessed into an arched opening that resembles the window arches to its right. The door has four panels, with an altered window above. Cellar window openings have segmental arches. A dentilled gutter cornice sits below a blocking course. Narrow brick party walls are visible to the left and right. Chimneys are located in front of the ridge on the left side, and on the ridge on the right side. The interior has not been inspected.
