Description
Adelaide Lodge is a house built around 1840, constructed of brick with stone dressings. It features a hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves and has an external brick chimney on the left side and another at the rear. The building is two storeys high with a cellar and consists of three bays. The windows have sandstone sills and rusticated lintels; the outer bays contain 16-pane sash windows, while the central first-floor window is a glazing bar sash. The central entrance is highlighted by a moulded flat canopy, an entablature, and a pilaster with fret detail. The door has five raised and fielded panels and includes a transom light with three glazing bars. The interior has not been inspected. At the rear, there is a single-storey and attic wing that adjoins the main structure.
