Description

Vine Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century, with alterations and additions made in the mid-19th century and mid-20th century. It is constructed of brick on a sandstone rubble base, topped with a plain tiled roof and featuring rear brick stacks. The building stands two storeys high and has a three-bay front, with a 3-course band between the storeys and at the eaves level on the gable ends. All windows are cross-casements with gauged flat heads, and the central entrance is a partly-glazed door from the 20th century. The interior has not been inspected. At the rear, there is a single storey and attic wing that includes dormers.
