Description
27 Blossom Street is a house built around 1840, constructed of brick with painted stone dressings and a slate roof. The building has three storeys and three bays. The windows feature rusticated painted lintels, with the central bay having blind recesses on the upper floors that also have similar lintels. The outer bays contain glazing bar sash windows, with the ground floor windows equipped with external shutters that have three panels on each leaf. The doorway is framed by a panelled surround and a shallow hood, with a door that has six raised and fielded panels, topped by a plain rectangular overlight. A modillion gutter cornice runs along the top. To the right of the central bay, there is a fluted lead rainwater hopper and downpipe. A chimney is located on the right-hand gable, while the left side has a truncated chimney cap. The interior has not been inspected.
