Description

No 20 and 22 High Street is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and has a pantiled roof. The building stands three storeys tall with attics and features three bays. On the ground floor, there is a 20th-century door and shop front. The first floor has a blocked central opening with a sill and a channelled wedge lintel, flanked by 16-pane sash windows in similar openings. The second floor contains 12-pane unequal sash windows with sills beneath channelled wedge lintels. The building has end stacks and tumbled-in brickwork at the raised gables.
