Description
The Bay Horse Public House is a mid-18th century establishment, with a later extension on the left side. It is constructed of brick, which is rendered and colourwashed, topped with a cast tile roof. The building features a central direct entry plan as originally designed. It stands two storeys high and has three bays. On the ground floor, there are six-panel doors set in pilastered doorcases to the left and between the second and third bays. The ground floor also includes three 16-pane sash windows, each with sills, positioned beneath cambered channelled wedge lintels. The first floor mirrors this with 16-pane sash windows and sills. The building has end and axial stacks, with a raised gable on the right side.
