Description

No. 65 is a house located on the south side of High Street in Market Weighton, built in the late 18th century. It features orange brick construction and a timber eaves cornice, topped with a Roman tile roof. The building is two storeys high with a symmetrical elevation of five bays. The entrance consists of a six-panel door set in a panelled soffit and reveals, topped by a fanlight with radial glazing, and is framed by a pilastered doorcase. There are 20th-century shopfronts on both the right and left sides. On the first floor, the windows are sashes with glazing bars. Additional architectural details include an eaves cornice, end stacks, and a coped gable with a shaped kneeler on the right side.
