Description

The Methodist Chapel, now a warehouse, was built in 1786. It features a red brick exterior that is rendered and colourwashed, topped with a pantiled roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of three by four bays. The main elevation includes a central double-leaf door that is topped by a pointed overlight with intersecting glazing bars. This door is flanked by pointed 16-pane sash windows, which also have sills and intersecting glazing bars. On the first floor, there are 12-pane windows with sills. Inside, there is an original staircase on the left, which has turned newels and a slender ramped handrail.
