Description
26 and 28 Mill Lane are a pair of houses, probably built in the late 18th century, with some alterations. They feature white painted render on brick and have an old slate roof with brick chimneys. The houses have a single-depth plan, likely consisting of two units each, with added back extensions. They are single-storey and have two plus three windows. Each house has its doorway on the right side, with heads positioned just below the eaves, both adorned with small ornamental wrought-iron porches. No. 26 has sliding sash windows with two, three, and three lights, while No. 28 has two three-light casements. Each house also has a small chimney aligned with the doorway. The buildings form a group with Nos. 20-24 to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
