Description

This is a pair of houses, now functioning as a single dwelling, likely dating from the 17th century, with some alterations. The exterior features white painted render on brick and a thatched roof. The building has a rectangular single-depth plan, with 20th-century additions at the rear.

It is one storey high and has a five-window range. The windows are small square two-light sliding sashes, and there is a small gabled porch located between the first and second windows. The thatched roof is steeply pitched, with gable coping on the left and the gable wall of the adjoining house, No. 5, on the right. There are small chimneys at both gables and one in the center of the ridge.

The interior has not been inspected but is believed to have exposed crucks. This building forms a group with the adjoining No. 5.
