Description
A row of three houses, likely dating from the 18th century and altered subsequently. The houses are constructed mainly of white painted render, with roughcast on number 6, and have slate roofs that step down in height from right to left. The buildings form a long, single-depth range, divided into three sections: a central range of three units, with the centre and right portions comprising number 8 and the left portion of number 10, and single-unit portions at each end, the right end being number 6.
Number 6, on the right, is two storeys high and has a single window front. The main range is single-storey, with a three-window front. The left portion of number 10 is a single storey and has a two-window front. Number 6 features a lean-to porch to the left, which has a doorway on the right side and an altered window to the front. It has a three-light casement window at ground floor level, and a small-paned two-light sliding sash window above. A gable chimney is located on the right side. Number 8 has a square-headed doorway, now protected by a small 20th-century metal-framed porch, and two three-light casement windows. A ridge chimney is present. Number 10, set slightly back from the others, has an entrance and a three-light casement window on the higher portion, a three-light sliding sash and a two-light casement window on the lower portion to the left, and a gable chimney.
The interior was not inspected during the listing process. The buildings form a group with number 2 to the right and number 14 to the left.
